Jewellery Care & Guidance
Just a little bit of information regarding the metals I use & how best to care for them:

Gold Tone & Silver Tone
Gold and silver coloured covered metal, which can be made from a variety of base metals, contains no actual gold or silver.

 Gold Plate & Silver Plate
Gold plate and silver plate, which can be made from a variety of base metals, is dipped in a thin layer of gold or silver.

 Sterling Silver
Sterling silver contains 92.5 percent pure silver and the remaining 7.5% is usually made up with Copper although other alloys can be used.

 Vermeil
Sterling Silver that has been gold plated, most Vermeil is plated with between 22-24k gold.

Gold Filled
A base metal which usually has a 14k gold coating & must constitute at least 5% of the items weight.

Care Guide for Non Precious Metals:
Using a soft cloth rub over each bead individually.

Care Guide for your Precious Metals:
Quite simply, a Silver Polish Cloth.

Over time, you will find that your jewellery will tarnish, to help prolong the plating I have found that storing your Non Precious Metals in a Self Seal Bag is really beneficial, you can also store your Precious Metals in this way or safely tucked away in a jewellery box as well as keeping them snug in a cool dark place until you want to wear them.

Try and keep your jewellery away from perfumes ,chemicals, sprays etc as these will cause your jewellery to tarnish and spoil, also, it is not a good idea to wear your jewellery whilst bathing, swimming or even washing the dishes as this will also cause the metals & the string to spoil.

Regular cleaning every few weeks will help keep your jewellery tip top.
